About Us
Freelancers that love to pump that sweet, sweet content.

Charles and Skyler met at the University of Texas in the fall of 2017. They immediately began collaborating on projects. After the success of Charles' thesis project G-String Budget, the pair began receiving offers for paid work with smaller brands in Austin, which ultimately lead to their decision to create Content Pump in the spring of 2020.
Starting a company during COVID-19 was an interesting choice, but they didn't have too many other options. Coastal cities like Los Angeles & New York, traditional media powerhouses, looked grim, and the choice was made to stay in Texas. The Content Pump produced everything from short acting reels to educational courses to promotional spots for the many small businesses spurred by pandemic loan programs.
In 2023, the pair worked on Shorty's Dream Shop, a hit show for MotorTrend+, and subsequently have been involved in production & post for TV sizzles developed by Back Roads Entertainment, Megalomedia, BYUTV, and independent investors. They've worked alongside industry giants like Mike Blizzard, Richard Linklater, James Conant, and Colby Gaines.
Charles has found his stride in post-production as an editor, DIT, and media manager. He has cut hundreds of short form ads, podcasts, short films, sizzles and tv episodes for networks such as Nickelodeon and for series like Hoarders. Charles oversees post-production at Content Pump and is involved with mentoring young editors in the Austin area.
Skyler works in the field as a producer, camera operator, and dayplays in G&E departments when needed. After completing production on Shorty's Dream Shop in early 2024 Skyler moved back to Austin and has since worked on dozens of live productions, tv shows, Youtube series, and more. Videos he has been a part of have garnered millions of views online.
Through mid-2026 the Pump continues to pump; Charles & Skyler continue to work with businesses, organizations, and agencies to assist with projects of all shapes & sizes while working on creative pursuits in Austin. They look to shoot their debut feature, currently titled Hot Shot, in the first months of 2027.
